The architectural firm Codesign was founded almost 20 years ago. Today they are 30 employees with a range of competences from creative designers, architects and project leaders to communicators, graphic designers and change managers.

KREANORD
KreaNord is a Nordic initiative designed to improve the growth prospect for the region's cultural and creative industries. The work is carried out by the Nordic Council of Ministers and serves as a Nordic platform for exchange and development. Cultural and creative industries create jobs, growth and exports that are vital for the future of the Nordic countries. These industries include Fashion, Music, Publishing, Design, Architecture, Animation and Film.
SVENSK FORM godmother
Svensk Form (the Swedish Society of Crafts and Design) is a not-for-profit membership association mandated by the Swedish government to promote Swedish design at home and abroad. Founded in 1845, it is the world's oldest design organisation, today with 11 active regional associations around Sweden. Svensk Form publishes Form, Magazine Nordic Architecture and Design, since 1905. In 2014 the magazine received the award Magazine of the Year.
NORDIC CULTURE FUND
The Nordic Culture Fund provides seed money to help build long-term Nordic networks and relationships.The Fund’s grants aid development, innovation and collaboration in culture in the Region, and help to raise the international profile of Nordic arts and culture.

The auction house Lauritz.com is a pioneer in online auctions, whose vision is to democratize the auction business by making art and design more accessible to the modern customer. Lauritz.com share the passion for visionary design, art, interiors and genuine craftsmanship. Lauritz.com is furnishing the apartment with some vintage furniture, selected by the project and our contribution in this project is also an online auction platform for promoting design. Locally, nationally and internationally. Visitors in the apartment, as well as design enthusiasts around the world will have the opportunity to bid on a selection of objects featured in the exhibition.
BOLON
Over 60 years ago in Stockholm, Sweden, an idea sparked into life. Textile waste became rag rugs and Bolon was born. Annica and Marie are the third generation of Eklund family entrepreneurs. Since 2003, when they took over the company from their parents Lars and Monica, they have been on a mission – to make Bolon a design-led innovator and fuse the conservative, traditional flooring branch with the boundless creativity of the world of fashion.

This is the essence of Lexter. In the same way that furnishing and lighting can set an atmosphere and ambience in a room, so can sound.
As sound architects, the Lexter team has a substantial experience of creating successful sound concepts for public environments. By taking care of the entire process, from idea to sound content and technical installation, they customise each solution based upon the preconditions.
The Lexter sound architects always consider and base their solutions on the existing sound environment to increase harmony and result.
Today, Lexter designs sound architecture for several different public environments; shops, malls, banks, offices, restaurants, hotels, museums and national parks.
The purpose of their sound design is always function and user-friendliness in which the individual is always in focus. Sound can surprise you, make you alert or simply make you feel good.

NORDIC PLAYLIST
COUSIN'S DJ PARTNER
The Nordic Playlist is a discovery platform, presenting new music coming out of the Nordic countries. The website gives an insight into some of the greatest sounds from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, the Faroe Islands, Åland and Greenland as recommended by prominent artists and tastemakers. Over fifty artists have taken the reigns since the site’s launch in January 2014 and each has picked their two favourite songs from each Nordic country, thus creating their very own Nordic Playlist. The site also presents exclusive mix-tapes from some of the most exciting DJs in the region on a bi-weekly basis and links weekly to the top 10 in each country. Our users can enjoy these playlists by streaming them on one of our partner services, which include Deezer, Spotify and WiMP.
Marimekko - the young mother
When Marimekko was founded in 1951, its bold colours and unconventional prints gave it a strong and unique identity. Armi Ratia, the founder, commissioned young artists to create distinctive fabric patterns, which resulted in boldly coloured, non-figurative designs that transformed the tradition of textile printing. Marimekko was traveling in the boundary between art and design long before anyone even talked about it.
Marimekko was first a phenomenon. Then it became a lifestyle. Eventually, it grew into an outlook on life: courageous, positive and empowering. Artek is a sales and propaganda center for the new housing ideology. - Nils-Gustav Hahl, 1935
Artek was founded in 1935 by four young idealists: Alvar and Aino Aalto, Maire Gullichsen, and Nils-Gustav Hahl. The business strategy of the company was “to sell furniture and to promote a modern culture of living by exhibitions and other educational means”. The founders of Artek advocated a new kind of environment for everyday life. They believed in a grand synthesis of the arts and wanted to make a difference in architecture and design as well as in town planning.
Today Artek is renowned as being one of the most innovative contributors to modern design, creating new paths at the intersection of design, architecture and art.
Norður Salt
Au Pair
Norður Salt uses a unique geothermal method to make sea salt flakes. The method was invented in 1753 in Iceland, but then forgotten for centuries. Savoury and mystical Arctic Sea water is poured into open pans where it is slowly heated with natural hot spring water. This sustainable process leaves behind no pollution or greenhouse gases – only fresh, pure and crunchy flakes of premium sea salt.
